New Stuff!

Is it just me, or does everyone who rides feel like Christmas comes whenever the Smartpak box arrives??? Just bought a new pair of Tredstep leather half chaps and I'm super excited. Nevermind the fact that my room now smells like a tannery, I'm obsessed!

In other news, I'm also currently wishing my calves would cooperate. Im a smidge over one size and the other would have been huge, so now comes the fun part... living in half chaps until they stop strangling my limbs.

Its been a month since my knee surgery. Hopefully will ride tomorrow. Unfortunately my new Redback bootsarent in yet... Maybe by the time I get them, these half chaps will have stretched... Oh riding ;)

First, Love yourself

I have to apologize, although I doubt I'm doing it to anyone but myself. I havent had the spirit to update this blog ... at all.

See I've never been much of a journal-er, and although I love to write, I find it equally hard to post about things I've done prior in my day. Facebook status updates became too challenging, and lately so has Twitter.

I take things as they come, in stride.

Id really prefer getting back into this blog, so kind of as a late New Years Resolution I am.

However, Im not currently riding. And I was very blessed to have been at the barn period this week. I just had bilateral knee surgery. No big deal. They thought it was Chondromalatia (cartilige related) But it turned out to be Plica syndrome. The later is a slightly bigger deal yet a fuller recovery from my understanding, which honestly is very limited, thank you pain killers.

My horse is fantastic and so is my support team. Eventing nation and Chron of horse is keeping me very entertained. I do what I can to stay sane, even pushed myself to drive around the block today. Baby steps.
